The garden is the part of a house that deteriorates fastest. If the drainage, the irrigation and the plant selection aren’t set up properly, it is spent within two summers. A pool is a building job in its own right: excavation, reinforced concrete, waterproofing, the filter and the automation all run inside the same contract.

WORTH NOTING
Where the work gets difficult on this item
We say these things at the quotation stage, not afterwards. We don’t like surprises.
- Drainage comes before planting. A garden built without working out where the water goes turns to mud in the first winter. Drainage and levelling always come before planting.
- Child safety around a pool is not an option. On every project with a pool we put the safety solution into the scope, and we write it into the contract.
- There is no garden without irrigation. Automatic irrigation is the single item that decides a garden’s maintenance cost. Without a timed unit and a moisture sensor, the garden stays dependent on your schedule.
- Pool maintenance doesn’t end at handover. We have an annual maintenance package for the pool, the garden, the irrigation, the air conditioning and the boiler; we present it as a separate quotation at handover.

Plant selection in Bodrum is a job of its own: unless plants that suit the local climate and need little water are chosen, the garden is spent within two summers. We put the existing olive trees under protection.
