About Us
Why Ancora
On a renovation or a build, the hard part isn’t finding a tradesman. The hard part is having someone hold all the pieces together from start to finish. That someone is us.
What our name means
Ancora means anchor in the Mediterranean languages. An anchor is the thing that holds and stays where it is put. Look closely at our mark and you will see one more thing: the vertical line dropping from the ring at the top is a plumb line, the tool that measures true vertical on a building site. So it says two things — steadiness and measure. That is our work in summary.
The name has one more practical benefit: our Turkish, English, German, Russian and Arabic-speaking clients all read it the same way, and it never gets misheard on the phone.
The mark
It says two things at once
The ring at the top and the vertical line below it resemble two things at the same time: an anchor that holds at sea, and the plumb line that measures true vertical on a building site. Both are definitions of our work — holding something in place, and measuring it correctly.
That is why there is neither a house silhouette nor a brick in our logo. Our work is not putting up the building; it is making sure the building goes up properly.
Our team
The team that builds it is our own
We are not a middleman who wins the job and hands it on. Our own staff design it, our own pool of trades build it, and our own project manager runs the site.
- We never outsource design. Our architects and interior architects are on our own staff. The drawing, the 3D visual and the construction detail all come from the same team, so nothing gets lost between the drawing and the site.
- The pool is closed. In every trade we work with teams we have used for years — insured and certified. We don’t chase the cheapest bid on every job and put strangers into your home.
- We buy direct from suppliers. We hold agreements with manufacturers and suppliers for materials, furniture, appliances and joinery. With the middleman removed, both price and lead time stay under our control.
- Waterpervision stays with us. We don’t leave the site to the subcontractor’s own supervision; the project manager and site foreman are on our payroll.
Why we started
[You need to write this section in your own words — a founder’s story is the one text where invention is spotted instantly. What to cover: how you got into this work, which bad experience made you think “this can be done better”, and what you decided to do differently. 150–250 words is enough.]
How we work
We are committed to three things, and all three are written into the contract.
Open book
You can see what we take, what we pay out and what share is left with us. We quote a single rate, and its ceiling is set.
Our own capability
We do the work ourselves. Our design staff, our site team and our closed pool of trades are in-house; the only work that goes outside is what has to be independent by law.
Work that is in writing
A verbal request doesn’t get built. Every change is priced and signed. It looks bureaucratic, but it actually makes things faster.
Our team
[Team members: name, role, short background. If you have architects or engineers, their professional chamber registration number should be listed — verifiable information is the strongest trust signal. Photographs should be taken in the same light and the same frame.]
Where we work
In Istanbul, [İLÇELER], and across the Bodrum peninsula. We work in a deliberately narrow area: when our crews are on sites close to one another, supervision gets more frequent and the work moves faster. Covering the whole city sounds good, but it lowers the quality of the work.
Let’s meet
The survey is free and commits you to nothing. We come to the property, take measurements, and listen to what you want.
